My names Liam Hughes, I’m a software developer for Stella Travel Service in Flintshire. I’m 33 and I love the outdoors.

I’ve been walking in the hills of Wales since I was 12 years old. I’ve climbed all the major peaks and lot’s of the not so major ones.

I love rock climbing too (though I don’t climb at a massively high grade). I’ve done several of the classic routes (Grade II scrambles to about Vdiff) and I love spending the summer time bouldering

In my youth I mountain biked to a decent standard (National Championships at youth level) and I’ll try any outdoor sport.

My new love is winter mountaineering and I recently spent a week in the Cairngorms getting used to crampons and ice axe weather
